Monday, August 11, 2008 Well I have wanted to make this video for awhile now, and really share what it takes to come off of a 100-day juice feast. I wanted to break down how I felt, any symptoms, experiencing eating again, and really what it takes to transition back into solid foods.
It took a lot for me to really examine everything that I have experienced over the past 6 months, and then wrap it up in a 10 minute video... but here it goes!

You are a beacon of light for others. Thanks for sharing your experiences, and how important it is to have a graceful exit from the JF. Looking forward to another collective one... I guess its the David and Katrina Rainoshek's call, and give credit to them and others for revolutionizing JF paradigm (http://www.juicefeasting.com)
Philip, Thanks for taking the time to detail your experience. Personal accounts are very valuable to all who consider prolonged fasting (feasting!) Just knowing you completed this encourages me to expand what I consider to be possible.
You are so beautiful and caring! When are you coming back out to visit Cafe Gratitude, we miss you :)

I'm planning a 'Sinews and Hollows' rehab retreat/program for next year. there's gotta be a way we get to stay feelin Juicy. nice one honey x
Great dude!! I really enjoyed this video and once again, your looking mighty fine!!
Thank you everyone for your kind words. Juice feasting is such a treat to enjoy, just being aware makes it that much more better.
Daisy, I cant wait....
awesome video. i am really contemplating doing maybe a 5 day juice feast when I get back to new york. i have been on vacation with my family and away from most of my organic supplies...eating well but not as well as i'd like.
thinking about a 5 day feast int0 my first colonic. i know there a couple places in the city that have programs which I will look into. if i decide to juice myself(i might need to buy a real juicer if so) do you have any resources that you recommend reading to learn more about feasting?
thanks for posting this.
Philip, Thank you so much for posting. I have done 81 days juice feasting (73 of them consecutive) and although I was 100% raw going into it (and still am) had great difficulty transitioning out and learned a lot. I really appreciated hearing from you about your similar experiences and doing my best not to beat myself up about the resultant weight gain, since that is easily lost again but what I gained in insight and new healthier paradigms is so much more important.
With gratitude,

Hi Phillip,
I really appreciate your honest and down to earth experience. I am embarking on a 100days juice feasting. i am a bit apprehensive and excited all at the same time. I have done 31days juice feasting earlier this year, but its good to be prepared with good information.
Thanks for sharing your experience. i'll keep you posted on how I get along, I'll be starting 1st of septmember.
thanks, Nike
Philip,
Your story is a true inspiration. It was AMAZING to get to meet you at Brandie's raw food potluck! I hope to hang out again sometime. I might be planning a trip to the East Coast soon... And whenever you visit SLO-town again, you have another place to stay.
Keep growing the global wellness movement!
Namaste,
