Sexiest Vegetarian over 50
Mimi Kirk recently won the title of the “Sexiest Vegetarian over 50” in a contest created by People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals, (PETA). Mimi was the oldest one in the contest at 71, and attributes her youthful looks and vitality to her raw vegan lifestyle.
Mimi has been a vegetarian most of her life starting at the age of 30. She was the former stand-in for Mary Tyler Moore and designed clothes creating the look for Valerie Harper on “Rhoda”. Mimi was in front of the camera on many television and movies in the 70’s and 80’s and also appeared in an episode of the original Star Trek. Mimi has created several businesses and is the inventor of a wildly successful boardgame for women called “Cowgirls Ride the Trail of Truth”. She authored a book in 2001 called “Cowgirl Spirit”. She is the mother of four children and the grandmother of seven.
When Mimi adopted the raw food lifestyle over two years ago, she immediately saw and felt a positive difference. She essentially eradicated arthritis, reversed her high cholesterol without traditional drugs, lowered her blood pressure and grew years younger without Botox or surgery. She is a lover of good food and an excellent raw food chef. She creates delicious raw food meals and teaches her family and friends how to incorporate more raw foods into their diets.
Since winning her title, she receives hundreds of requests a week from around the world asking her anti-aging secrets and how she stays so healthy and vibrant. She has appeared on NBC, FOX, and the national TV show, “The Doctors”.
